Kefalonia, the ancient Kingdom of Odysseus is the largest and most beautiful of the Ionian islands. It is gifted with an amazing variety of landscape from calm, inviting sandy beaches to breath-taking mountain peaks and ravines.

Inglessata Rose Studios are built in Certified Organic Orchards which produce primarily oranges and lemons. The studio apartments are managed by Wayne and Anna-Maria Konstantaki-Burke. Anna-Maria was born in India, travelled around the world and settled in Kefalonia. Wayne was born in California, travelled throughout Europe and fell in love with Kefalonia. Wayne and Anna-Maria are both academics and prefer the serenity and beauty of their organic orchards which surround the studio apartments. While staying at the Rose studio apartments one can learn how to cook traditional Kefalonian dishes, participate in guided meditation and yoga.

The Inglessata Rose Estate is conveniently situated in that the night life of Argostoli is only 15 minutes away by car, and yet the oak, chestnut, olive and fruit trees in the organic orchards which enclose the apartments provide a tranquil atmosphere for rest and reflection. There are at least 7 beautiful sandy beaches including Avithos, Ammes, and Ag. Helis which are within walking distance, or a short drive from the Studios, varying in range from 900 meters to 2, 5 kilometers. The local village has a mini market, restaurant and taverna which are within a 300m radius from the apartments. The airport of Kefalonia is a six minute drive, while the ports of Poros and Sami with ferry connections to Patras and the mainland is about an hour’s drive from Inglessata Rose Studios.

The Inglessata Rose Estate features six independent apartments of 26 square meters ,not including the covered verandahs. Each studio apartment is completely furnished. There are two beds and the sofa of the sitting area is easily converted into two additional beds. The sitting and sleeping areas can also be separated by a sliding partition which is ideal for couples or small families. There is ample wardrobe space for clothes and suitcases. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, a small electric cooker and cupboards with essential cooking utensils and cutlery. Each studio apartment is air-conditioned and there is hot water for both the kitchen and shower units. Wireless internet access is available.

Inglessata Rose Studios is an ideal place for couples who want the privacy and exclusivity of an exquisite natural environment. The vast space surrounding the units is ideal for children in that there is a long paved driveway for bike riding, a playground area, as well as the lawn and gardens for creative play.
